Inc to bring to you some of the most comprehensive
dog training curriculum currently available.
While studying at the Canine Behavior
Academy, you will:

- Have hands on experience working
with dogs of varying dispositions
- Learn Behavioral Biology in
a classroom setting and apply your knowledge
to real world scenarios
- Work hands on with varying
levels of behavioral issues, from basic
obedience to aggression
- Learn effective public speaking
skills and collaborate with fellow students
to build your own customized training
curriculum

cover everything from Licensing and
Permits, to certifications to networking
and marketing

Module 1: Dog Theory
and Behavioral Psychology
(5 weeks)
Class meets weekly for 4 weeks. In this
portion of the program, you will learn
Behavioral Biology, Dominance and Pack
Theory, Effective and Appropriate Communication
and Genetics. |

Module 2: Dog Theory
Application
Class meets weekly for 6 weeks. Here,
you will learn about various dog training
methods, learn how to implement basic
and advanced control commands, and learn
about behavioral problem solving through
a number of case studies.

Module 3: Entreprenuership
Class meets weekly for 4 weeks. Here,
we will teach you about the necessary
licenses, permits, certifications and
documentation required for starting
a dog training business. We will also
teach you about marketing and PR and
how to properly interact with your clients.
You will also learn public speaking
skills. |

Module 4: Advanced
Coursework
Optional Hands on Coursework in areas
of Personal and Executive Protection
Training, Anti-Aggression Work and Dog
Sports such as Agility, Fly Ball, and
Protection Sports. |

Module 5: Internship
Hands on Internship under the direction
of a trainer. 100 hours internship supervising
group play at a local doggy daycare
and no less than 120 hours interning
directly under a Certified Dog Trainer.
You will assist in teaching group classes,
working one on one with clients in private
sessions, working hands on with in-kennel
dogs and much more. |
